My Goodies...
My Goodies...
My Goodies...
Yea, My goodies!
So yesterday was cool and rainy all day. My kind of weather though. I was stuck at work, so I looked out the window and stared longingly as it came down. I wanted to put on warm clothes and go for a walk in rain, getting thouroughly soaked and cold, but really enjoying it. I quite like walking in the rain, I don't know why, I just like it. Thankfully God smiled on me today, and it rained again, and I was able to take a walk in it. Very nice.
But moving on, yesterday at work, I decided that I wanted to make chocolate chip cookies when I got home. So I went to the store and walked around holding a bag of chocolate chips, reading the recipe, trying to figure out what ingredients we had at home, and what we needed. ( I also found out that No, in fact you can not buy hard cider after 9 because they are not allowed to sell it) So I started making cookie at about 10:45 p.m. ( this alone, explains so much about my life), and since my mother and her boyfriend were sleeping, I mixed the dough out in the garage on the tool bench ( so as not to wake them). Suprisingly it made about 5 dozen cookies, which suprised me as usually the recipes insists that you can get 6 dozen cookies, and you end up with 14. I did keep myself from eating copious amounts of the dough, which I'm sure had something to do with it. So I thought I'd share a plate with my friends. Don't be shy, help your self.
Well... I suppose.......

you are too cute!
I laughed out loud when I read the title of your post. Mostly because I can imagine you singing it and doing a little bit of a dance.
sometimes you are too precious for words. i wish i really could enjoy one of those cookies.....
i'm pretty sure i need to meet you so that we can be "official" friends. cookie dough (the real stuff that gives you a stomach ache) is the BEST.
Katie, we should meet so we can become "official friends". I'll even bring cookies! I made them with real butter, so they're really good. I love when you eat too much cookie dough and you feel sick. But usually you still eat more, and the next time you make cookies, you chow down again. I think that's pretty much the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing multiple times, and expecting a different result.
i like cookies. and when art paul schlosser sings about them... (https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/kppfister/I_Like_My_Mother.mp3)
Johnny, why must you post such a tantalizing picture?
I can't believe Katie didn't tell you about the time we baked half a roll of cookie dough and saved the other half so that we could make cookie dough-on-cookie sandwiches.....it was good for a few bites, but after that i got a tummy ache - a delicious tummy ache.
Oh Wow! Cookie dough on cookie sandwiches. That just makes my tummy ache thinking about it. But it bet it was SOOO good! I'll totally have to try it sometime.
